Every journey has a story, and this is ours.
Wonderfully You was built from a shared belief that every child deserves to be understood, supported, and celebrated for who they are. What began with a passion for making a difference has grown into a dedicated team of advocates, educators, and professionals committed to walking alongside children and their families.
As we continue to grow, so does our commitment to learning. Through ongoing professional development, reflection, and collaboration, we strive to continually strengthen the way we support our children, families, and the wider community.
Our founders
Joey Anastasia Dragon
FounderJoey holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (First Class Honours) from the University of Queensland. Her practice is grounded in a holistic, strengths-based, and person-centred approach, placing each child and their family at the heart of the therapeutic journey.
Her experience spans diverse age groups, developmental needs, and educational settings, including international experience, providing her with a broad perspective and adaptable approach to supporting children and families across a wide range of developmental journeys. She values strong partnerships with families, educators, and multidisciplinary professionals, recognising that children achieve the greatest outcomes when the people around them work collaboratively towards shared goals.
Joey believes children make the greatest progress when they have opportunities to apply their skills in meaningful, real-world contexts across home, school, and community environments. This philosophy has shaped both her clinical practice and Wonderfully You's wider mission of bridging therapy with everyday life.
Beyond direct intervention, Joey is a passionate advocate for genuine inclusion and meaningful participation. Her belief that support should extend beyond the therapy room inspired the development of Wonderfully You's community initiatives, which bring together advocacy, accessibility, inclusive experiences, and meaningful partnerships to create change beyond traditional intervention.
Through this work, she hopes to contribute towards a society where everyone is empowered to participate, connect, and belong.
